Mega Evolution—Delta Reign

Reported date; official confirmation pending

The Pokémon Company officially confirms the first five releases and their dates. Multiple collector calendars currently list Delta Reign for November 6, but it has not yet appeared on Pokémon’s official product schedule as of July 24, 2026.

January 30: Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes

The year started big with Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes.

With more than 290 cards, this special expansion brings together Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, Trainer’s Pokémon and Stellar Tera Pokémon ex. Mega Dragonite ex is one of the headline cards, making the set especially exciting for collectors who enjoy powerful fan-favourite Pokémon.

Because Ascended Heroes is a special expansion, products were released across different waves instead of arriving in one standard launch. That can make sealed products such as Elite Trainer Boxes, booster bundles and collection boxes harder to find at the same time.

March 27: Mega Evolution—Perfect Order

Perfect Order puts Mega Zygarde ex at the centre of the action.

The expansion contains more than 120 cards and also features Pokémon such as Mega Clefable ex, Mega Starmie ex and Meowth ex. Its smaller set size makes it an interesting option when you want to build a master set without chasing cards across an enormous checklist.

For players, Perfect Order introduced fresh Mega Evolution strategies. For collectors, the detailed Pokémon and Trainer illustrations gave the set plenty of binder appeal.

May 22: Mega Evolution—Chaos Rising

Things became more intense with Mega Evolution—Chaos Rising.

Mega Greninja ex, Mega Floette ex, Mega Pyroar ex and Mega Dragalge ex lead an expansion containing more than 120 cards. The set also includes over 35 cards with special illustrations, giving collectors a strong selection of potential chase cards.

Chaos Rising was released through familiar sealed products, including booster display boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes, booster bundles and blister packs. That gives you plenty of ways to open the set—or keep a sealed booster box in your collection.

July 17: Mega Evolution—Pitch Black

Darkness arrived with Mega Evolution—Pitch Black.

Mega Darkrai ex leads the set alongside Mega Zeraora ex, Mega Chandelure ex and Mega Excadrill ex. With more than 115 cards and a darker visual style, Pitch Black quickly became one of the most talked-about Pokémon releases of the summer.

The expansion launched worldwide on July 17, with prerelease events beginning earlier in the month. You can find the set in booster packs, booster bundles, Elite Trainer Boxes and other sealed products.

September 16: Pokémon TCG—30th Celebration

This is the date every Pokémon collector should save.

Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration releases simultaneously worldwide on September 16, 2026. It is the first Pokémon TCG expansion planned around a coordinated global launch, making it a major moment for the entire collecting community.

Each booster pack contains five foil cards and one foil Basic Energy card. The expansion combines new designs with familiar Pokémon and artwork inspired by the history of the game. Products include Elite Trainer Boxes, special collections and additional premium releases arriving later in the year.

Demand for anniversary Pokémon products is usually high. Expect limited availability, fast-moving preorders and possible purchase limits designed to give more collectors a fair chance.

November 6: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign

Delta Reign is currently expected to become the next major English Mega Evolution expansion.

Collector sources list Mega Rayquaza ex as the headline Pokémon, with the English set based on the Japanese Storm Emeralda expansion. The reported English release date is November 6, 2026.

However, The Pokémon Company has not yet added Delta Reign to its official release schedule. Treat the name and date as highly anticipated but not fully official until a Pokémon announcement appears.

Extra Pokémon products to watch in 2026

Not every important release is a full expansion.

The First Partner Illustration Collection—Series 2 launched on June 19, featuring starter Pokémon from Johto, Unova and Galar. Series 3 follows on August 7 with first partners from Hoenn, Kalos and Paldea. These collections are especially appealing when you enjoy connected artwork and promotional cards instead of opening a full booster box.

The 30th Celebration product waves will also continue after the main September release. Ultra-Premium Collections are currently scheduled for November 6, giving sealed collectors another major date to track.

How to prepare for upcoming Pokémon sets

Popular Pokémon releases can sell through quickly, especially when they feature Pokémon such as Charizard, Pikachu, Rayquaza, Umbreon or other long-time community favourites.

Check release information early, compare product contents and decide whether you want to open packs, collect a complete set or keep products sealed. Signing up for restock alerts also gives you a better chance of buying at collector-friendly pricing instead of reacting to inflated secondary-market prices.

At Beam Card Shop, you can shop trusted sealed Pokémon TCG products with fast EU shipping and clear stock communication. Purchase limits may apply to high-demand releases so more collectors can join the excitement.
